Rodillian Academy is seeking to appoint an Attendance and Welfare Officer to play a key role in securing excellent attendance across the school. This position requires a strong balance of skills: the ability to support students and families with sensitivity and professionalism, combined with excellent organisational and administrative skills to ensure accurate records, efficient processes, and effective interventions. The successful candidate will be confident in managing data, liaising with external agencies, and providing practical support to students and families to help remove barriers to attendance.
Excellent communication and organisation skills, a meticulous attention to detail and a pro-active attitude to problem solving are essential. Continually striving to achieve the best attendance levels for all and where necessary, carrying out the statutory duty of legal action. Working as part of the Resilience Academy Attendance team, helping devise strategies to maintain high student attendance levels, improve punctuality and reduce unauthorised absence at the academy and across the Trust.
