Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with various construction tasks across multiple projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality standards are maintained. Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and clearing of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials.
- Support skilled tradespeople such as roofers, plumbers, welders, electricians, carpenters, masons, and painters in their daily tasks.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision.
- Help with the installation of roofing, plumbing systems, electrical wiring, plastering, masonry work, and fabrication tasks as required.
- Follow schematics and technical drawings to assist with construction activities.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Assist with site safety procedures and report any hazards or issues promptly.
Skills
- Strong physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy loads (up to 40 pounds) and perform manual labour throughout the day.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Good organisational skills with an eye for safety protocols on-site.
- Prior construction experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for specific tasks.
- A proactive attitude with the willingness to learn new skills in a dynamic environment.
