Are you an experienced School Chef Manager looking for an exciting new opportunity? We have a fantastic role available at Totley All Saints CE Primary School, 5 Hillfoot Road, Sheffield, S17 4AP in Sheffield, working with a supportive team in a rewarding school environment.
This position offers the perfect work-life balance, with 32.5 hours per week across 39 weeks per year, meaning you'll enjoy all school holidays off while receiving monthly pay throughout the year!
Preferred start date: 2nd September 2026. A later September start date may be considered for the right candidate.
Working Pattern: 7:30am to 2:00pm, Monday to Friday
This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented Chef Manager to join The Pantry, a growing and ambitious company dedicated to serving exceptional food to exceptional students. You'll be joining an established team, working with wonderful clients, and making a real difference in the school community.
We are committed to developing our people and will provide comprehensive training, ongoing support, and opportunities for professional growth. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you may also be required to provide occasional support to other local sites.
As School Chef Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and serving high-quality, nutritious meals for students.
- Driving sales performance and maintaining excellent food standards.
- Delivering an outstanding dining experience for pupils and staff.
- Building positive relationships with students, school staff, and clients.
- Managing financial reporting and budget performance.
- Leading, motivating, and inspiring your catering team.
- Coordinating and supporting the training and development of team members.
- Managing food ordering and stock control processes.
- Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the kitchen.
- Supporting staff development and performance management.
- Ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Maintaining full compliance with all food safety, health and safety, and legislative requirements.
