Location: The Cottage, 1st Floor, The Old Vicarage, Market Street, Castle Donington, Derbyshire, DE74 2JB
Salary: From £13.00 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday – Friday, 07:30 – 16:30 (1-hour break)

The Role
We are looking for a proactive and organised Booking Coordinator to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling inspections, liaising with customers and engineers, and ensuring a smooth and efficient booking process. You’ll play a key part in delivering a high level of customer service while managing a busy and varied workload.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact customers via phone and email to arrange equipment inspections
- Handle incoming calls from engineers and customers, resolving queries
- Provide updates to customers on booking status
- Ensure engineer worksheets are accurate and complete before processing
- Work closely with the Bookings & Logistics Supervisor to meet business needs
- Identify and escalate any issues or areas for improvement
- Maintain accurate records and manage scheduling systems
About You
Essential:
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills (phone and email)
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Customer-focused approach
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a bookings or scheduling role
- 3+ years’ experience in customer service
- Knowledge of the lifting equipment or engineering industry
