Overview
We are seeking a friendly and versatile Barista/All Rounder to join our vibrant team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of food and beverages in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for coffee, excellent organisational skills, and a positive attitude. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. This position is fully paid and suitable for individuals eager to develop their skills within the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including speciality coffees, teas, and other drinks, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
- Assist with food preparation tasks, such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or snacks, maintaining food safety standards at all times.
- Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, taking orders accurately and handling transactions using the till system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including counters, equipment, and seating areas.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Uphold health and safety regulations related to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming environment for all customers.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in food service is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour towards customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends or evenings if necessary.
