Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Barista to join our vibrant team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including specialised coffee drinks, teas, and smoothies.
- Assist customers with menu selections and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the till system efficiently.
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operations throughout shifts.
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently, including proper food handling and hygiene practices.
- Support food preparation tasks such as assembling light snacks or baked goods when required.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without compromising quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar food service role is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within the hospitality industry.
- Strong serving skills with a friendly, approachable manner.
- Ability to perform basic food preparation tasks confidently.
- Good organisational skills with effective time management to handle peak periods efficiently.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
