About the RoleAs a Dog Groomer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality grooming services while ensuring the comfort, safety, and wellbeing of every dog in your care.
Key Responsibilities
- Bathing, drying, brushing, and styling dogs to breed standards or customer requirements.
- Clipping, trimming, and grooming dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic grooming area.
- Providing excellent customer service and communicating with pet owners about their dogs’ grooming needs.
- Monitoring dogs for any health concerns and reporting observations to owners.
- Managing grooming appointments and maintaining client records.
- Supporting the positive and friendly atmosphere of the café and grooming business.
Requirements
- Previous professional dog grooming experience.
- Confident handling dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
- Strong knowledge of grooming techniques and animal welfare.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, organised, and passionate about animal care.
