Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across various commercial premises. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, washrooms, communal areas, and other designated spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and products
- Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with waste management policies
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming as required
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures to ensure clarity and shine
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and soap dispensers to ensure continuous availability
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently during all cleaning activities
- Report any maintenance issues or damages identified during cleaning tasks to the supervisor
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision whilst maintaining attention to detail
- Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively within allocated timeframes
- Physical fitness to perform repetitive cleaning tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning procedures and chemical handling
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
- A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
