Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to promote optimal oral health.
- Diagnosing and managing periodontal disease
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with data protection regulations.
- Support infection control procedures, sterilisation of instruments, and maintenance of clinical areas.
Requirements
- recognised qualification as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience in providing dental hygiene services within a clinical setting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
- Organised, detail-oriented, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient care.
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
