After School Nanny Needed - Upper Norwood | 1PM - 6PM | £15 per hour | All Year Round*
We are a lovely family in *Upper Norwood* looking for a warm, reliable nanny to care for our kind and polite 9-year-old boy.
*Hours:* Monday-Friday, *1PM - 6PM*
*Pay:* *£15 per hour*
*Contract:* *All year round, not term-time only* - including school holidays
*Driver would be preferred*
*Requirement:* *DBS preferred*
*Your duties will include:*
Start work at 1 o’clock and get all of the duties done before Pick up from school at 3:45PM during term time, bring him home, help with homework, and do fun activities. He loves being outside and playing sports, so someone active and playful is ideal.
During school holidays, you’ll plan fun daytime activities and outings with him.
Light housework related to him and the family, plus cooking and preparing dinner 9 times out of 10 you’ll be cooking for the whole family.
Make sure he’s showered and ready for bed, then hand over to us when we get home around 6PM.
We’re looking for someone trustworthy, experienced with kids, and happy to help with cooking and light housework.

Key Duties:*
- School run Pick up from school at 3:45PM and bring him home safely
- Childcare Play with him, do homework, and plan fun activities. He loves being outside and sports
- Household Light housework including washing, folding, and putting away clothes making sure that his PE uniform and clothes are ready for the next day for school
- Tidiness Enforce general tidiness in kitchen areas and where his toys are. Tidy up after him and maintain the house to a nice, tidy standard
- CookingPrepare healthy, nutritious meals for him. 9 times out of 10 you’ll be cooking for the whole family
- Bedtime routine Ensure he’s showered and ready for bed
- Errands Occasionally run errands such as posting letters or posting parcels
Skills
- Proven experience in nannying or childcare roles with references demonstrating reliability and warmth
- Strong driving skills with a clean driving record for safe transportation of children
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to teach basic skills through engaging activities that stimulate cognitive development
- Knowledge of child safety protocols and first aid procedures
- Enthusiastic about working with children of various ages and adaptable to changing routines
- Passionate about nurturing growth through playful learning and positive reinforcement
Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
