We’re looking for enthusiastic Hospitality & Events Team Members to join our team at Hidden River, working across our busy restaurant and beautiful wedding and events venue.
From relaxed meals in our restaurant to incredible weddings and celebrations at Hidden River Barn, no two days are the same. You’ll be part of creating memorable experiences for our guests, working alongside a friendly, close-knit team in a beautiful rural setting.
What we’re looking for

You’ll be:
- Friendly, enthusiastic and confident with guests
- A positive team player who enjoys working in a busy environment
- Reliable, hardworking and willing to get stuck in
- Passionate about delivering great customer service
- Able to stay calm and think on your feet when things get busy
- Flexible and happy to work across both our restaurant and events
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends and during busy event periods
- Experienced in hospitality, or simply keen to learn – a great attitude is more important than experience
- Able to get to us reliably, as we are located in a rural area and own transport is essential
What you’ll be doing
Restaurant
- Welcoming guests and providing friendly, professional service
- Taking food and drink orders accurately
- Serving food and drinks efficiently
- Making sure tables are beautifully presented, cleared and reset
- Processing cash and card payments
- Keeping the restaurant clean, tidy and welcoming
- Working closely with the kitchen and wider team to ensure everything runs smoothly
Weddings & Events
Our events are a huge part of what makes Hidden River special, and you’ll play an important role in making each one memorable.
You’ll help to:
- Set up and prepare event spaces before guests arrive
- Welcome guests and make them feel at home
- Serve food and drinks during weddings and events
- Assist with bar service
- Work alongside our events team to ensure everything runs smoothly
- Anticipate guests’ needs and go the extra mile to help
- Keep the venue looking immaculate throughout the event
- Clear and reset tables efficiently
- Help with whatever is needed to make the event a success
Be part of the team
We’re a fast-paced, hands-on and close-knit team, so everyone gets involved.
You may find yourself moving between different roles depending on what the day requires, including restaurant service, weddings, events and occasionally helping other areas of the business.
We’re looking for people who are happy to roll up their sleeves, work together and do whatever it takes to give our guests an amazing experience.
