Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Outdoor Activity Instructors to join our dynamic team. This role involves leading engaging outdoor programmes and activities designed to promote physical activity, teamwork, and personal development among participants of all ages. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor pursuits, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety. Responsibilities
- Lead a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, team-building exercises, adventure courses, and sports-based programmes
- Plan, organise, and deliver engaging sessions tailored to different age groups and skill levels
- Ensure the safety of all participants by adhering to established safety protocols and conducting risk assessments before activities
- Provide clear instructions and demonstrations to maximise participant understanding and enjoyment
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages teamwork, confidence, and personal growth
- Maintain equipment and activity areas in a clean and safe condition
- Monitor participant behaviour and intervene when necessary to ensure safety standards are upheld
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop new programmes and improve existing activities
Experience
- Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to lead outdoor activities with confidence and enthusiasm
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan engaging programmes tailored to diverse groups
- Excellent communication skills, capable of motivating participants of varying ages and abilities
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to outdoor activities
- A genuine passion for outdoor pursuits, adventure sports, or environmental education is preferred
- Minimum Qualifications PSI, Archery GB. Ideal RCI and ML

Pay: £28,542.00-£32,500.00 per year
