Duties
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients for various dishes
- Support the cooking process by following recipes and kitchen procedures to ensure consistent quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety standards
- Help with meal assembly and plating to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently, including proper food handling and storage practices
- Support serving staff by preparing ingredients or assisting with basic food presentation when needed
- Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and assisting colleagues as required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices
