Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Budget property in Derby East Midlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing staff, and maintaining the overall efficiency of the hotel. A strong background in hospitality, leadership, and human resources is essential to drive excellence across all departments. Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable to enhance communication with diverse guests and team members. Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage services, and maintenance.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures aligned with organisational goals.
- Manage guest relations, addressing complaints promptly and ensuring a memorable stay for all visitors.
- Monitor financial performance,P7L, optimize resource utilization, and control costs effectively.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel industry standards.
- Foster a welcoming environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and guest satisfaction.
- Promote the hotel's services through marketing initiatives and community engagement when appropriate.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel management or a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong supervisory skills with prior experience managing diverse teams.
- Excellent organisational abilities with attention to detail in all operational aspects.
- Exceptional guest service skills with a focus on delivering memorable experiences.
