We are Wye Valley Brewery (A real living wage employer) ... Multi award-winning, family-owned British brewery. Since 1985, we've been producing the very best beer, using the finest ingredients, including locally-grown hops. We are located in rural Herefordshire and deliver our beers within 100 mile radius of the brewery. Our beers can also be found in all major supermarkets and independent retailers.
We are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to join our busy finance office based at Stoke Lacy.
This role does not require any previous experience in a finance role as full training will be given, covering office administration, sales ledger processing and credit control.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience and attributes: -
· An aptitude for mathematics.
· Would enjoy a role in finance and would like to have the opportunity to be supported in gaining further relevant qualifications.
· Be able to demonstrate an eye for detail and a high degree of accuracy in repetitive tasks, even in a busy environment.
· PC literate, including Microsoft Office.
· Strong communication skills and good telephone manner.
·Be comfortable interacting with customers. suppliers and staff from all departments.
· Once fully trained be prepared to work as part of a bank holiday rota including the occasional Saturday.
Although this is a full time role, part time candidates would be considered, however the hours of 11.00 am - 5.30 pm Monday - Friday are essential for the role.
Due to the rural location of the brewery the ability to use your own transport is essential.

As a Real Living Wage employer, from the 1 May 2026 the starting rate of pay is £13.45 per hour.
