Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Fitter to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components and systems using hand tools and power tools according to technical specifications and safety standards
- Install, align, and calibrate machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly and implement effective repairs or adjustments
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and system performance
- Assist in the assembly and disassembly of large machinery in warehouse or industrial settings
- Collaborate with team members to improve assembly processes and safety procedures
Requirements
- Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals
- Experience using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc., for assembly and repair tasks
- Proficiency with power tools required for mechanical fitting tasks
- Prior experience in warehouse or industrial environments is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
