Import Operations Coordinator

About the Role:
As an Import Operations Coordinator, you’ll manage the end-to-end coordination of import shipments (FCL, LCL and/or airfreight), ensuring smooth, compliant, and on-time movement for key clients.
You’ll keep data accurate across bespoke systems and internal platforms, using strong Excel skills to support reporting and operational visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Arrange and manage import bookings for FCL, LCL, and/or airfreight consignments with a range of carriers.
Coordinate with customers, shippers, and overseas agents to ensure smooth movement of goods from origin to destination.
Enter shipment data promptly and accurately into bespoke client systems and internal platforms.
Maintain close communication with clients, carriers, hauliers, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain high service standards.
Utilise Microsoft Excel for data processing, reporting, and record-keeping.
- ️ Proactively identify and address potential delays, documentation issues, or operational risks.
- Support the wider operations/key accounts team in delivering outstanding customer service
✅ Experience in import operations (FCL, LCL and/or airfreight) within shipping or logistics is essential.
Strong data entry, processing, and Microsoft Excel skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
