About Inspire Connect
Inspire Connect is an events, internships, and talent development company connecting students and graduates with valuable industry experience through partnerships with leading organisations.
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our Marketing Campaign Support Team for one of the UK's leading public sector healthcare events.
About the Role
This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in marketing campaigns, delegate engagement, CRM management, and event coordination within a professional events environment.
The role is predominantly phone-based, with approximately 80% of your time spent speaking with delegates who have previously attended our events. These are not cold sales calls. Instead, you will be building relationships, confirming attendance, arranging meetings, and ensuring delegates have an excellent experience before the event.
Alongside your core responsibilities, we will provide wider exposure to different areas of marketing wherever possible, giving you the opportunity to develop a broader understanding of how marketing campaigns are delivered in a commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact previous event delegates by telephone to discuss attendance and arrange meetings.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with delegates.
- Update and maintain delegate information using HubSpot CRM.
- Support marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
- Assist with market research and data management.
- Provide administrative and project support to the marketing team.
- Support social media and content-related activities where appropriate.
- Assist with event preparation before the live event.
On-Site Event Support
As part of the internship, you will also attend the live event on 29–30 September 2026.
Many of the meetings you arrange before the event will take place during these two days. You will welcome delegates, support the networking lounge, assist with meeting coordination, and help ensure the event runs smoothly. This provides valuable experience of seeing a marketing campaign through from planning to live delivery.
What You'll Gain
By the end of the internship, you'll have developed valuable experience in:
- Marketing campaign support
- Professional business communication
- Delegate and stakeholder engagement
- CRM systems (HubSpot)
- Event planning and coordination
- Market research and data management
- Working within a fast-paced marketing and events team
- Commercial awareness and professional confidence
We're Looking For Someone Who Is
- Confident and professional on the phone
- Friendly, organised, and proactive
- Comfortable communicating with a wide range of people
- Interested in marketing, events, communications, or business development
- Eager to learn and contribute as part of a collaborative team
- Reliable and committed throughout the internship
Important Information
This internship is best suited to candidates who enjoy communicating with people and are comfortable spending a significant proportion of their working day on the phone. While we aim to provide exposure to a broad range of marketing activities wherever possible, the primary focus of the role is delegate engagement and campaign support.
Successful candidates will be expected to commit to the full internship period (20 July – 25 September 2026), as well as attend the live event on 29–30 September 2026, which forms an integral part of the role.
Important Eligibility Information
This internship is offered on a self-employed basis. Applicants must be legally entitled to work as self-employed contractors in the UK. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide sponsorship for this role.
