Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging training sessions to new hires and ongoing staff, covering essential topics such as care plans, home care procedures, and health and safety protocols
- Assist in developing and updating training materials to reflect current best practices and regulatory standards
- Observe and evaluate trainee performance during practical assessments, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement
- Collaborate with management to identify training needs and tailor programs accordingly
- Support staff in understanding their roles within care homes or home care settings, emphasizing the importance of communication skills and person-centered approaches
- Maintain accurate records of training attendance, progress, and certifications achieved
- Ensure all training activities adhere to legal requirements and organizational policies
Experience
- Proven experience working in a care home or home care environment, with a strong understanding of care plans and resident needs
- Valid driving license and ability to travel between different care settings as required
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to convey information clearly and empathetically
- Competent in using IT systems for record keeping, training documentation, and reporting purposes
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations relevant to care environments
- Prior experience in delivering or facilitating training sessions is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members

Pay: £548.18-£1,006.96 per week
