At Heathcote House we have a fantastic, highly skilled & long-standing team. We offer a range of General Dentistry, as well as Implants, Periodontics, Short Term Orthodontics and Sedation. We are mainly a Private Practice, but also hold small NHS contract, delivering a very high standard of care to our patients.
A wonderful opportunity has become available for a motivated Dental Nurse/Receptionist to work with our fun and friendly team. The role will be varied; from Dental Nursing across our six surgeries on a rota basis, supporting our team of Hygienists, to working with our Reception Team, as well as completing some administrative duties.
We would be happy for either a Qualified Dental Nurse, or a Trainee with experience, and willing to work towards a Dental Nurse Qualification, funded by the Practice.
You will be supported by our well-established Management Team, consisting of our Practice Manager and Head Nurse. We firmly believe that nurturing our staff, creates a happy working environment and therefore a great patient experience.

Hours:
We are looking for a full-time member of staff, however we can offer some flexibility for the right candidate.
Clinical (Dental Nurse Duties)
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during a wide range of dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment in line with infection control protocols
- Ensure treatment rooms are clean, tidy, and fully stocked
- Support patient care by reassuring patients and explaining procedures when appropriate
- Maintain accurate clinical records as directed by the dentist
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including cross-infection control
- Assist with radiography (if qualified) and other clinical procedures
- Monitor and manage dental supplies and stock levels
Reception (Front Desk Duties)
- Greet patients warmly and provide excellent customer service
- Manage appointment scheduling and diary coordination
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and patient enquiries efficiently
- Process payments, issue receipts, and manage billing systems
- Maintain and update patient records in the practice management system
- Liaise with patients regarding treatment plans and follow-up appointments
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organised, and welcoming
