Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our kitchen, supporting chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations. Previous experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised according to health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and storage areas throughout shifts
- Support the team with organising supplies and stock as needed
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling processes in accordance with company policies
- Follow all hygiene and safety procedures diligently to uphold a safe working environment
- Support serving staff during busy periods by providing necessary assistance when required
Requirements
- Familiarity with restaurant, hotel, or culinary environments is advantageous
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks within the kitchen setting
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role
Pay: £12.71 per hour
