We are looking for a talented and experienced Florist to join our dynamic team. This role involves creating floral arrangements for various occasions, providing exceptional customer service
Role requirements
- 1+ year's experience in all aspects of floristry
- Experience in hand tied bouquets, table arrangements, weddings, Bespoke funeral work and Events with a keen eye for colour and composition
- Passionate about flowers and plants with a thorough understanding of flower and plant varieties, seasonal flowers, flower care and preparation.
- Excellent Customer Service, confident and well- presented.
- Punctual, reliable and calm under pressure.
- Creative, engaging, polite and good team player.
- An eye for detail and for a tidy, well presented site is a must.
- An ability to work under pressure.
- Self motivated, pro-active with an inspiring work ethic.
- Target and results oriented, takes ownership and acts with integrity, with a focus on store profitability.
- A positive and can-do attitude and willingness to help the team
Responsibilities
- Create inspirational bouquets of your choice as well as following precisely our bouquet guide.
- Creating floral arrangements for events, weekly corporate contracts, and installations
- Excellent communication between management and the staff.
- Liaise with logistics department and your line manager with daily tasks and priorities.
- Hands-on, motivational, inspirational; supporting your team, whilst ensuring a positive and fun environment.
- Always keep an eye on the quality of flowers the florists use.
- Treat flowers carefully and after making an arrangement put any unused flowers back in water.
- keep the shop clean and Presentable - carry on Cleaning Duties, shop Opening, End of Day tasks, sorting the deliveries out, Liaise with suppliers to reconcile deliveries received. working with delivery drivers for the smooth deliveries of orders, be able to step in to deliver orders as required so must hold a Clean Driver License.
