Talboys Utility Services (Oxford) Ltd (TUSO) is looking for an experienced and driven Supervisor to join our expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled utilities professional to take a leading role in delivering high-quality leakage solutions, supporting operational excellence, and making a real difference to customers and communities across the Thames Valley.
As a Supervisor, you will play a key role in leading field teams, improving performance, and ensuring every job is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills, take ownership of projects, and progress your career within a respected and growing utility services business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and support leakage repair teams to achieve safe and efficient delivery.
- Drive high standards of workmanship, quality, and customer service.
- Monitor team performance, productivity, and compliance with company procedures.
- Carry out site inspections, provide technical support, and resolve operational challenges.
- Work closely with planners, customers, and management teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members to support their growth and career progression.
- Promote a strong health and safety culture across all activities.
Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience within utilities, water, civil engineering, or groundworks.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Good understanding of health and safety standards and industry best practice.
- Full UK driving licence.
- NRSWA and water industry experience are desirable, but training and development opportunities are available for the right candidate.
