Purpose:
We are looking for reliable and professional drivers to support our day to day operations. This role involves delivering and collecting electric vehicles, preparing vehicles for hire and ensuring customers receive a high standard of service.
This is a zero hours position best suited to someone looking for occasional work.
Primary Responsibilities:
The availability of work is based entirely around customer demand and it would be usual to expect a call from us to check your availability at any time, including out of business hours or weekends. We will endeavour to provide you with at least 24 hours notice of planned schedules. You are free to choose the hours you wish to work, however we require some degree of reliability to ensure we are able to provide continuity to our customers.
You will be required to fulfil the following tasks:
- Delivery and collection of electric cars – local or nationwide
- Conduct vehicle inspections pre and post hire
- Ensure vehicles are cleaned, charged and ready for hire.
- Provide customers with “know how” vehicle knowledge as appropriate
- Completion of handover or collection paperwork accurately and thoroughly
- Take detailed photographs of vehicles during handovers, including all exterior panels, interiors, mileage and any damage.
- Provide excellent customer service suring handovers and collections
- Report any vehicle damage, faults or incidents promptly
- Follow company procedures and all road safety regulations
We welcome applications from all appropriately qualified candidates. However, we feel this would be suitable for those looking to earn extra income without the commitment of a full time job or specific hours. We also provide a lunch allowance in excess of 6 hours.
Skills/Qualifications:
Full, clean UK driving licence is essential with a minimum of 5 years experience and no more than 3 penalty points.
Must be comfortable driving a range of large left hand drive vehicles
