As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled experienced PPM Engineer Mechanical/HVAC to join our Central London STATIC team.
Role Overview
As a PPM Engineer Mechanical/HVAC, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive works on a wide range of mechanical and HVAC plant and building services equipment. You will ensure all mechanical systems are maintained to a high standard, minimising downtime and delivering exceptional service to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on mechanical plant, including pumps, motors, valves, pipework, pressurisation units, fans, AHU’s, FCU’s and general AC.
- Perform fault-finding, reactive repairs, and component replacements.
- Undertake mechanical isolations with shutdowns when required.
- Support HVAC and plumbing systems maintenance where applicable.
- Maintain accurate service records, job sheets, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure all works are delivered in compliance with health & safety legislation and company procedures.
- Work closely with clients, delivering a professional and responsive service.
- Support colleagues across multi-disciplined building services operations.
Skills & Experience Required
- Time-served Mechanical HVAC engineer with proven experience in PPM and reactive maintenance.
- Relevant qualifications such as NVQ L2/3
- Good knowledge of mechanical systems and plant within commercial buildings.
- Basic understanding of HVAC and plumbing systems (advantageous).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to join an on-call rota if required.
