Mile End Dental Clinic is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Part-Time /Full time Dental Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team.
We are a busy mixed NHS and private dental practice providing general dentistry alongside treatments including Invisalign, implants, endodontics and cosmetic dentistry.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials before appointments
- Provide excellent patient care, including explaining procedures and addressing concerns in clear English
- Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems and ensure confidentiality at all times
- Support infection control protocols and sterilization processes to uphold hygiene standards
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently, demonstrating strong organizational skills
- Communicate effectively with patients, team members, and external providers to ensure smooth clinic operations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in patient care within a dental or healthcare setting is preferred
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to explain procedures clearly and empathetically
- Knowledge of nursing practices and infection control procedures
- Familiarity with IT systems used for record keeping and appointment management
- Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding patient care and support
