Healthcare Together Recruitment Ltd is looking for caring, compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistants to join our growing agency team.

About the role
As an Agency Healthcare Assistant, you will support individuals with their day-to-day needs and help them enjoy the best possible quality of life.
You’ll work alongside permanent care staff and other agency workers in a variety of care settings, so you’ll need to be adaptable, confident and comfortable working independently when required.
Your duties may include:
- Supporting clients with personal care, including washing, dressing, eating and toileting
- Assisting with safe moving, transferring and repositioning
- Helping with light housekeeping duties such as changing bed linen
- Monitoring clients’ physical and emotional wellbeing
- Reporting any concerns or changes to senior staff
- Completing care notes and documentation accurately
- Providing emotional support and companionship
- Encouraging participation in social and recreational activities
- Promoting dignity, independence, choice and person-centred care
- Responding appropriately to emergencies, incidents and safeguarding concerns
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for people who genuinely care about making a difference.
You should have:
- At least 3 months’ experience working in healthcare within the UK
- Knowledge of the care industry
- Good communication skills
- A caring and sensitive approach
- The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Good organisation and self-motivation
- The confidence to follow instructions and work independently where required
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to different environments and circumstances
Training and development
All Healthcare Together staff are required to complete our mandatory training. We also value continuous professional development and encourage team members to work towards a relevant NVQ or equivalent qualification.
