This challenging and rewarding position will have responsibility for the delivery of a project that is attracting high profile across the business.. The role will support the business with complete and robust accounting processes and controls as they relate to intercompany as well as responsibility for certain key control activities through the calendar year, across our global centres.
Your responsibilities

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role is primarily about intercompany:

Completion of reconciliation across 14 units, on both an accruals- and a cash-basis

Investigating and resolving long-standing historical differences

Preparation and posting of reconciling adjustments

Development and maintenance of new model for reconciliations going-forward; primarily the control and reconciliation of monthly charges for timekeeper time but also for other intercompany charges

Reconciliation of various other balance sheet (and P&L) accounts across EMEA, some of which are relatively complex - plus identification and implementation of process changes to simplify and enhance the reconciliations going forward

Assistance with provision of data to external statutory auditors in UK and Singapore during their audits.
Your key skills and experience

Energetic, ambitious and focused

Strong accounting background (qualified or QBE)

Very substantial experience in reconciliations, including intercompany

Strong Excel skills, including ability to work with very large volumes of Excel data

Clear and concise communications skills, both verbal and written

Ambitious / Pro-active - delivers the expected result and offers suggestions for improvement

Strong team player, able to build strong relationships with team members and business stakeholders; Sense of fun, energy and team building.
