Youth Mentor at Impact Mentoring
Support young people to thrive. Impact mentoring is looking for a caring, committed Youth Mentor to work with learners from Key Stage 2 onwards in a supportive alternative provision setting. This is a chance to build trusted relationships, encourage progress and make a genuine difference every day.
About Impact mentoring
Impact mentoring offers a calm, inclusive and relationship-led environment for young people who benefit from personalised support. Based in Gloucester and the surrounding area, we work collaboratively to help learners feel valued, understood and ready to move forward.
Please note: a full clean driving licence and access to a car are essential.
The Role- Contract: Flexi contract | Pattern: Full time or part time
Key responsibilities include:
- Building positive and supportive relationships with young people.
- Encouraging engagement, personal growth and self-belief.
- Supporting learners from Key Stage 2 onwards to work towards their goals.
- Contributing to a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment.
- Promoting positive choices and celebrating achievement.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and families.
The Person
We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and helping them succeed. Experience working with children or young people is valuable, but strong interpersonal skills, a caring approach and a genuine commitment to making a difference are equally important.
