We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support individuals with mobility and physical activities, including transferring and positioning.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as required, ensuring dietary needs are met.
- Monitor clients' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Engage clients in social activities and companionship to promote emotional well-being.
- Document care provided accurately in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Empathy and compassion to understand the needs of individuals requiring care.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations related to care services is advantageous.
- Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
