Summary
We are seeking a Painter and Decorator to Join our Property services division based out of our office in Yeovil, Somerset working in and around the Taunton area.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator in a construction setting
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques and materials
- Good communication skills to liaise with team members and clients
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Valid driving licence is preferred
- Proficiency in English for effective communication
