Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, permanent Saturday cafe assistant to support our cook with providing a friendly experience from welcome drinks to members coffee after exercise gatherings .
Hospitality experience would be great, a can do attitude is a must.

Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, with precision and care
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or baked goods to ensure quality and freshness
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all operations
- Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, taking orders accurately and handling transactions using POS systems
- Keep the café clean and organized by regularly sanitizing workstations, counters, and equipment
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying management of stock levels
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar serving role is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks with attention to detail
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a lively environment
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly attitude towards customers and team members
