Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Kitchen Fitter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, fitting, and finishing kitchens with precision and care. Your expertise will ensure that each project is completed to the highest standards, transforming spaces into functional and beautiful environments. Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install kitchen units, cabinets, countertops, and appliances with accuracy
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform fabrication, joinery, and assembly tasks efficiently
- Conduct carpentry and joinery work to ensure seamless fitting of kitchen components
- Perform plumbing connections for sinks, dishwashers, and other fixtures as needed
- Apply construction painting techniques to finish surfaces smoothly and professionally
- Carry out masonry work or roofing tasks related to kitchen installations when required
- Handle heavy lifting safely during the transportation and positioning of kitchen materials
- Ensure electrical connections are correctly installed in compliance with safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace throughout each project lifecycle
Experience
- Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, or joinery within a construction or renovation environment
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, plumbing fixtures, masonry materials, and electrical components
- Knowledge of roofing techniques and construction painting is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during installation processes
- Familiarity with plumbing systems, electrical wiring, masonry work, and general construction practices
- Prior experience working on kitchen or cabinetry projects is preferred but not mandatory
