Pool Lifeguard (Qualification Required)
Here at North Star, we believe in empowering children by involving them in decision-making. Our collaborative approach spans across various sectors, allowing us to provide the best possible care. We need someone who is comfortable working with children who have EBD, SEMH, CSE (Child Sexual Exploitation), CCE (Child Crime Exploitation), Drug and Substance Misuse.
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Lifeguard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all users in and around the swimming area. This role requires a strong commitment to compliance management, effective communication skills, and the ability to respond swiftly in emergency situations. As a Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all children at our home.
Right now, we are recruiting Adhoc Lifeguard in our Leatherhead Home.
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour.
Requirements:
- Current L3 or above lifeguard certification from a recognised organisation.
- Proficiency in first aid and CPR techniques.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Experience in compliance management is advantageous.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
- Must be physically fit, capable of swimming long distances, and performing rescues when necessary.
- A commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Right to work in the UK.
