Job Overview
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Chef de Partie (CDP) to join the kitchen team at The Harper Hotel in Norfolk.
This is a great opportunity for a chef who takes pride in their food, enjoys being part of a professional kitchen team and wants to continue developing their skills within a quality hotel environment.
You’ll take responsibility for your section, working closely with the senior kitchen team to deliver consistently high standards throughout preparation and service.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Taking responsibility for your section and ensuring it is fully prepared for service
- Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to a high standard
- Maintaining consistency, quality and presentation throughout service
- Working closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef
- Supporting junior members of the kitchen team where required
- Ensuring ingredients are stored, labelled and rotated correctly
- Monitoring stock and helping to minimise food waste
- Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient working environment
- Following food hygiene, allergen and health & safety procedures
- Supporting the wider kitchen team during busy services
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, Commis Chef or similar
- Strong food preparation and cooking skills
- A genuine passion for producing high-quality food
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently during busy services
- Good organisation and time-management skills
- Strong understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety
- A reliable, positive and team-focused approach
- A desire to continue learning and developing as a chef
