Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Dust, vacuum, and mop floors; clean windows and mirrors; and sanitise bathrooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed.
- Assist with laundry services when required.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously.
Skills
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or commercial cleaning is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and colleagues.
- Attention to detail and an organised approach to tasks.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively.
- Basic cooking skills would be an advantage for preparing light meals or snacks when necessary.
