Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with a friendly demeanor
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Monitor tables regularly to check on guests’ needs, refill drinks, and clear used dishes promptly
- Adhere to food safety standards and proper handling procedures at all times
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed during busy periods or special events
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in serving food and beverages
- Basic math skills for handling bills, payments, and change accurately
- Strong time management skills to coordinate multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to work well within a team environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Familiarity with culinary concepts or kitchen experience is a plus but not mandatory
