Key Responsibilities:

Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the home, including residents' rooms, communal areas, bathrooms, and corridors

Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules as directed by the Housekeeping Manager

Ensure safe use, care, and storage of cleaning equipment and materials
-
Adhere to infection prevention and control procedures at all times
-
Change bed linens, replenish supplies, and ensure resident areas are tidy and welcoming
-
Report any maintenance issues or concerns promptly

Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the overall smooth running of the home
Essential Requirements:

Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or a similar role

Knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and safe working practices
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good communication and organisational skills
-
Commitment to maintaining high hygiene and safety standards
Desirable:
-
Experience working in a Nursing/Residential Home

Understanding of infection control in a care setting
-
GCSE English (A-C or equivalent)
Skills & Knowledge:

Strong attention to detail and time management skills

Ability to follow cleaning schedules and safety guidelines

Understanding of COSHH regulations (training can be provided)

Friendly and respectful manner when interacting with residents, families, and staff
