Job Summary: We are looking for a new Clubhouse Manager to help push our ever expanding clubhouse at Bentham Golf Course. The role will include evening and weekend work, due to increased functions bookings and a large increase in traffic during the summer months we are needing an independent Clubhouse Manager to lead the team
Hours and Pay: 44 Hours during Summer and 36 during Winter
Essential Job Tasks:
- Create a welcoming environment within 1922 by presenting the room well, serving drinks in a courteous manner
- Conduct the cashing up of the till
- Work with the catering sub-contractor to ensure that the correct food is ordered and communicated in good time
- Ensure good housekeeping within the clubhouse
- Ensure that the till system is kept up to date with information about the products, stock and sufficient gross profit is sourced for each product
- Maintain the staff rota via the planday system
- Liaise with the golf shop and golf group organiser to ensure society bookings are completed ahead of time and run smoothly on the day
- Manage evening function outside of the golf season
- Experience with beer cellar would be an advantage but not necessary
- Knowledge of COSHH & Health & Safety legislation
- Implement and monitor company health and safety policies
- Ensure compliance with all aspects of Food Safety & Hygiene regulations
