Location: Kent & London (with occasional nationwide travel)
Salary: £42,000–£55,000+ per year (depending on experience)

Empire FM is an established 24/7, 365 reactive building maintenance contractor with almost 20 years' experience working for major national clients, including one of the UK's leading hotel chains. Our reputation has been built on solving complex building problems, delivering high-quality workmanship and providing outstanding customer service.
We're looking for an experienced Building Fabric Engineer / Multi-Trade Operative who takes pride in their work and enjoys the challenge of diagnosing and resolving building defects not just carrying out repairs.
The Role
No two days are the same. You could be:
- Investigating and resolving complex water ingress.
- Carrying out structural and concrete repairs.
- Roofing and waterproofing works.
- Brickwork and repointing.
- Carpentry and fire door repairs.
- Plastering, decorating and reinstatement works.
- Drainage investigations and repairs.
- General building fabric maintenance.
- Working directly with hotel managers, facilities managers and commercial clients.
- Participating in a callout rota to respond to urgent reactive works when required.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has a strong background in multi-trade building maintenance.
- Can work independently and solve problems on site.
- Takes pride in producing high-quality work.
- Is confident communicating with customers.
- Holds a full UK driving licence.
- Is prepared to travel and occasionally work away from home when required.
- Is willing to take part in a callout rota.
- Is reliable, professional and represents the company to a high standard.

- Concrete repairs
