We’re now looking for a dependable and customer-focused Distribution Team Member to join our distribution team. Role Purpose:
As a Distribution Team Member, you will support the efficient operation of Timothy Taylor’s Distribution Centre (TTDC) by assisting with the loading, unloading, storage, and delivery of products. The role ensures that stock is handled safely and accurately while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and supporting timely deliveries to customers.
You’ll be based at our Keighley site, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with core hours from 7am to 4pm.
Key Responsibilities:·
- Assist the Yard Team Leader with daily distribution centre operations.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Pick and prepare stock accurately for distribution.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Support stock control and ensure products are stored correctly.
- Act as a driver’s mate when required, assisting with deliveries of cask beer to local customers.
- Provide cover across the dray fleet during periods of holiday or sickness.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Counterbalance FLT licence (preferred, training may be provided).
- Experience working in a busy distribution or warehouse environment (preferred).
- Is dependable, punctual and professional in representing our brand.
- Has great communication and teamwork skills.
- Is customer-focused and takes pride in doing things properly.
- Is flexible and willing to support across transport and warehouse functions.
The role involves manual handling and sitting / standing for extended periods. Applicants must be able to meet the physical demands of the role, with reasonable adjustments provided where required.
