Join our vibrant Malaysian Coffee and Tea Truck team as a Coffee and Tea Truck Assistant! In this energetic role, you will be the friendly face behind our mobile coffee and tea station, delivering exceptional service while preparing and serving delicious beverages. Duties
- Assist in the preparation of traditional Malaysian coffee and tea beverages, ensuring quality and consistency
- Serve customers with a warm smile, taking orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards throughout the truck and serving area
- Manage cash register operations, including basic math calculations for transactions
- Support food preparation tasks such as ingredient handling, garnishing, and packaging
- Ensure timely service by managing time effectively during busy periods
- Help with restocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and setting up or packing down the truck at the start or end of shifts

- Has excellent customer service skills.
- Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work.
- Can stay calm under pressure during busy periods.
- Is happy to work weekends and flexible event hours.
- Is physically able to lift stock and assist with setting up and packing down equipment.
- Takes cleanliness and food hygiene seriously.
- Enjoys learning about different cultures and food.
Bonus Points If You
- Have experience working in cafés, hospitality, markets or food stalls.
- Have an interest in coffee, tea or specialty beverages.
- Are familiar with Malaysian, Singaporean or wider Asian food and drink culture.
- Speak an Asian language such as Mandarin, Cantonese, Malay or another regional language (not essential).
- Hold a Food Hygiene Certificate (or are happy to obtain one).
