Job Title: Lettings Administrator – Proactive
Job Summary:
Processing letting applications, carrying out letting related administration such as recording deposits, contacting guarantors and collecting identification. Planning and managing scheduled compliance related maintenance and other planned maintenance, updating online marketing material, communicating with property owners and tenant clients.
Responsibilities & Duties:
· Work diligently and enthusiastically alongside the Directors, Team Supervisors and other team members to achieve company targets and aims.
· Be an active part of the ongoing development and expansion of the company and associated planning.
· To nurture and develop new business opportunities and contacts within the local community.
· Produce accurate written and oral reports when requested.
· Provide a first-class service to both property owners and tenants.
· Take part in any training appropriate to the position.
· Develop a detailed knowledge of relevant letting legislation and work with the team to ensure the company and all rented properties comply.
· Work to target times and communicate effectively with other staff members, tenants and landlords throughout the lettings process.
· Work flexibly where required, with some working from home being expected at peak times.
· Be prepared to be a proactive team member, assisting with other duties and tasks where appropriate and necessary.
Experience, skills and attributes to include:
· Reliable, trustworthy and act with integrity.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Able to work as part of a team but with the ability to work with minimal supervision when required
· Excellent organisation, prioritisation and planning skills
· Computer literate with experience of Microsoft Office and Outlook
