Become a Key Person
Eight families. One trusted adult. A different shape of early years practice. We're seeking an experienced Level 3 Early Years practitioner who is looking to progress their career. We are particularly interested in childminders looking for a change and to join a passionate team.
We’re a nature-based setting based at The Fold, Bransford, Worcestershire. As an Early Years Practitioner, you'll be treated as a true professional.
You won’t work in a room. You’ll hold a caseload of eight families and follow those children as they grow - no handing them on at each transition. You get to know each child and family properly, and stay alongside them.
We pay you for the children you hold, not the hours you sit in the building.
Our innovative Professional Practice Pay model will see you earn a base pay, on your full contracted hours, plus £68 a month for every child you hold as their named Key Person, rising to £83 and then £101 as your practice deepens.
Thirty hours a week with eight children is around £25,850 a year. At our middle tier, closer to £28,300.
Your base wage never drops if your caseload dips for reasons outside your control. Pay tracks sessions booked at enrolment. And tiers are decided on demonstrated practice, not years served - arrive already working at that level and you start there.
