Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Previous experience in cleaning or related roles is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas
- Ensure waste disposal is carried out efficiently and in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure service standards are met
Qualifications
- Basic proficiency in English for effective communication
- Valid driving licence is desirable for roles requiring travel between sites
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and team members effectively
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team
- Organised with good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently
- Previous experience in cleaning or hospitality is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided
