Overview
We are seeking a dedicated FOH/BOH Team Member to join our dynamic Chaiiwala team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant culinary environment, contributing to both front-of-house and back-of-house operations. The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant settings is highly desirable, but full training will be provided for the right applicant. Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere at all times
- Assist with meal preparation and food presentation, adhering to food safety standards
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously in line with company protocols
- Support kitchen operations by helping with food preparation and maintaining cleanliness
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed diligently
- Maintain organisation of workstations, ensuring all equipment is clean and properly stored
- Collaborate effectively with team members to deliver a seamless dining experience
- Assist with stock control and inventory management as required
Skills
- Previous experience in catering, restaurant service, or kitchen environments is preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety procedures and hygiene standards
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in meal preparation, food presentation, and basic cooking techniques
- Experience in serving customers with attentiveness and care
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends if required
