Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Wire Manufacturer / Roller / Grinder / Polisher to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating high-quality wire products, operating specialized machinery, and performing precise grinding and polishing tasks to ensure optimal product finish. Your expertise will contribute to the production of durable, reliable wire used in the textile industry.
Responsibilities
- Operate wire manufacturing equipment, including rollers, grinders, and polishers, ensuring efficient and accurate production.
- Set up and adjust machinery using technical drawings and specifications to meet quality standards.
- Measure the wire using micrometers.
- Perform grinding and polishing processes to achieve smooth finishes on wire products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in the warehouse or manufacturing floor to promote safety and efficiency.
- Conduct routine inspections of finished products for defects or inconsistencies, making adjustments as necessary.
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during all operations.
- Collaborate with team members on projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
Experience
- Prior experience working in the wire industry. Using rolling, straightening and cropping machines.
- Hands-on experience with welding, grinding, polishing, and assembly using hand tools and power tools required.
- Mechanical knowledge related to machinery setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance essential for success in this role.
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements, tolerances, and quality control tasks.

Pay: From £13.45 per hour
