We're looking for a Quality Engineer to join our Suffolk team based in Suffolk.
Location: Suffolk
Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

The Quality Engineer is responsible for monitoring on-site quality control and ensuring packages of works meet Nuclear Safety standards and specifications. You'll play a vital role in maintaining the highest quality standards while working collaboratively with the construction team to resolve any issues that arise.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Quality Engineer, you'll be working within the Quality and Assurance team, supporting them in maintaining Nuclear Safety standards and quality control. Your day to day will include:
- Monitoring onsite works quality through inspections and physical checks to ensure compliance with Nuclear Safety standards, drawings and specifications,
- Collaborating with construction team members, suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure quality control standards are met,
- Identifying deficiencies and non-conformances, recommending corrective actions and monitoring remedial works,
- Liaising with the Client's Project Supervisor for quality control matters and organising inspections,
- Maintaining quality documentation, records, logs and registers, ensuring they are appropriately collated and easily traceable.
What are we looking for?
This role of Quality Engineer is great for you if:
- You hold an HND/Degree or equivalent in Construction or a related subject,
- You have demonstrated knowledge and practical application of quality control activities,
- You can interpret structural engineering drawings and specifications and report on findings clearly,
- You hold a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card and Full driving licence,
- You have strong communication and IT skills with the ability to keep clear and accurate records.
