GuardWatch Security UK Limited is a well-established SIA Approved Contractor, and we are looking for a reliable and professional Full-Time Gatehouse Security Officer to join our team at our client’s site in Treburley, near Launceston, Cornwall.
This is a permanent full-time position for someone looking for regular work within a professional and supportive security company.
Hours & Position
- Full-Time Position
- 12-hour shifts
- Day Shift: 06:00 – 18:00
- Night Shift: 18:00 – 06:00
- Applicants must be able to work both days and nights as required
Your Duties Will Include
- Maintaining a professional and visible security presence
- Controlling access and egress to the site
- Booking in visitors, contractors and vehicles
- Conducting regular site patrols
- Monitoring site security and reporting concerns
- Responding professionally to incidents and queries
- Completing required security records and computer-based duties
- Following all GuardWatch and client site procedures
Essential Requirements
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard Licence
- A full and complete 5-year checkable work and/or education history
- Applicants must be able to provide sufficient information and references to allow us to complete the required 5-year vetting process
- Good communication skills
- Professional and polite manner
- Basic computer skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work both day and night shifts

If you do not live within a reasonable commuting distance of Treburley, or you cannot reliably travel to and from the site for 06:00 and 18:00 shift changes, please DO NOT apply.
We are looking for applicants who can reliably attend every scheduled shift without travelling distance becoming an issue.
