The Golden Lion is a busy, family-run hotel, pub and restaurant in the heart of Newport, Pembrokeshire, and we’re looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our team.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in giving great service and is happy working as part of a busy, close-knit team.
The role
Your duties will include:
- Welcoming and looking after our customers
- Taking food and drink orders
- Serving food and drinks in our restaurant and bar
- Preparing and serving drinks
- Taking payments and using our till system
- Setting up and clearing tables
- Helping to keep the restaurant and bar clean, tidy and well presented
- Assisting with hotel guests and general Front of House duties
- Working closely with the kitchen, bar and other members of the team to provide great service
Who we're looking for
Ideally, you'll have previous experience working in a pub, restaurant, hotel or similar hospitality environment, although training can be provided for the right person.
More importantly, we're looking for someone who is:

Hours: Full-time and part-time positions available. Evening and weekend availability will be required.
